Auntie Carole brought me much happiness when she invited me to be a bridesmaid at her wedding to Uncle Tom! Ten years later she hosted me at her home on my first trip to England, and I and my husband saw her 10 years after that while travelling through Great Britain. She was a wonderful person, and a terrific role model. Sr. Eleanor, her younger sister by less than a year, told me of Carole's extraordinary generosity and kindness. I feel privileged to have been her niece. Sincerest condolences and love to her children Gerard, Mary and Liz, and the grandchildren who Auntie Carole so dearly loved.
